Post & Paddock Zinfandel taps into Lodi's viticultural heritage to produce a rich, structured, zesty, medium-bodied red. Flavors of blackberry, raspberry and cinnamon lead to fresh sage and pepper flavors that take on power and weight on the finish.

ZIN TO LODI FOR

Lodi might very well be the Zinfandel capital of the entire world, home to almost 40% of all the Zin grown in California and some of the oldest vineyard plantings in the entire country. Post & Paddock Zinfandel was grown, raised and vinified by area locals who know a thing or two about handling this classic grape variety.

If we consider “terroir” as the unique place grapes are grown, then Lodi Zinfandel certainly fits that description. Located near the geographical center of California, these sandy, dusty plains do not resemble any other grape growing region and produce plump, jammy, intensely spicy Zinfandels that are beyond comparison.

VARIETAL COMPOSITION: 100% Zinfandel
WINEMAKING PROCESS: Because wine is made in the vineyard, our special relationship with local Lodi grape growers makes the cellar side of the operations much simpler. 
Post & Paddock Zinfandel is 100% de-stemmed and fermented in stainless steel then aged in seasoned French oak barrels before bottling.
