DAY 9

POISE

2018 ZINFANDEL

AMADOR COUNTY, CALIFORNIA

Poise.gif

Zinfandel has earned an unfair reputation as a grape variety incapable of grace and charm. With Poise Zinfandel, we aim to challenge this notion and present to you a sophisticated, elegant take on one of America’s favorite grape varieties. Like a ballerina taking a breathtaking leap, Poise soars in the mouth with exuberant wild berry flavors and sticks the landing with gentle, refined tannins.

WINE PROFILE

Poise epitomizes the unique charms of Amador County Zinfandel, with high-toned red fruits complimented by bramble, blackberries and plums.  You'll taste hints of candied plums, earthy notes, green tobacco and pie spices.  Poise Zinfandel is quite flavorful, mouth-filling, soft, and round with a fresh finish.

ZIN FOR THE WIN

As well as being America’s signature heirloom grape variety, Zinfandel is Amador County’s viticultural specialty. A vast majority of the acreage planted to grapes is devoted to Zinfandel, and the tradition and experience with working with the variety runs deep and long.

Our Zinfandel represents the culmination of this expertise, embodied by a wine of such Poise that only those with knowledge garnered by multiple generations of hard work could have created it. This intimacy expresses itself in every glass of this true-to-its-origins Zinfandel.
