WINE ADVENT CALENDAR
Pináculo – Spanish for “pinnacle” – symbolizes our commitment to bring to you the very best Pinot Gris the New World has to offer. To this end, we turn our attention to the far-flung vineyards of Washington State, where the long, warm growing season allows growers the ability to produce a wide range of styles for a broad diversity of palate preferences. Pináculo aims for a richer style, a rounded expression, with a focus on fruit and a bright, clean finish.
WINE PROFILE
Pináculo is intensely floral on the nose, with a bouquet of white flowers along with both citrus and tropical fruit. This theme is repeated in the mouth, where the lively mid-palate features notes of grapefruit, tangerine and ripe melon. Pináculo finishes brisk and clean.

PINÁCULO NIMBLE
Reinterpret the old, improve it and redefine it. Those are the principles that are the foundation behind the ascension of Washington wines on the international stage, and Pináculo Pinot Gris is at the pinnacle of this quality revolution. Pináculo vineyards are planted in the windy, rugged Columbia Valley, on the edge of what is possible in viticulture, and an area that until recently was considered inhospitable for wine grapes.
This part of Washington was considered unsuitable for anything but apple orchards, until a handful of brazen pioneers came along to show the world the potential of working this region previously thought impossible to manage. In this spirit, Pináculo Pinot Gris is always pushing the boundaries to rise to the top of what is possible in viticulture and winemaking, and the summit rises with every successive vintage.
