WINE ADVENT CALENDAR
Cabernet Sauvignon in Washington has come of age, and is celebrated for its unique ability to develop the perfect combination of traits from the grape’s most famous locations – Bordeaux and Napa. Like the former, Washington Cabernets are celebrated for their structured tannic profile and muscular disposition. Like the best of Napa, they feature dense, dark fruit and incredible concentration. Lady Killer Cabernet Sauvignon from Washington is the best of both worlds – old and new!
Our Washington Cab pours an intense ruby red color with a granite red rim. Black cherries are dominant on the nose, along with ripe strawberries and spices such as cloves and white pepper, underlined by a fine, woody complexity. The palate is very round with soft tannins and a well-balanced acidity. Lady Killer is an aristocratic wine, with a long and supple finish.

EVERYBODY WASHINGTON TONIGHT
While still outside the mainstream wine zeitgeist, Washington State is nonetheless the second-largest wine producing state in the entire U.S., despite arriving relatively late to the scene. With barely a handful of wineries operating as recently as the 1960’s, the growth has been astronomic!
Local winemakers know that Washington’s ability to consistently produce world-class wine is dramatically underappreciated and comically underrated – with 300 days a year of sunshine, a warm-yet-dry growing season and cool nighttime temperatures that modulate sugar accumulation, it’s almost as if the wines make themselves. Lady Killer Cabernet Sauvignon celebrates its origins by transporting you to this very special place that the grapes call home.
