ATTACKIN' THE YAKIMA

Yakima Valley is Washington's first AVA... signaling its discovery as the first sub-region of the state known to have the potential to produce world-class wine. Almost 40 years in, this potential has been realized with the greatest diversity of fine wine producing vineyards in the entire state.

Located at the same latitude as the world-famous Bordeaux, it is perhaps no surprise that the Yakima Valley produces wines of such distinction. Blessed with long, sunny days, a prolonged growing season and cool, breezy nights, Yakima wines tend to be hearty, luscious and undoubtedly world-class.
