Bloomdust is a classic Chardonnay, ripe and forward, featuring notes of fresh orchard pears, Golden Delicious apples and subtle tropical notes on the finish. A kiss of vanilla oak and buttercream on the finish helps balance the wine.

There is no place where grapes are grown on Earth like the Columbia Valley. The steep, barren, exposed hillsides tumble down to the mighty Columbia River in a jumbled morass of rock, sand and clay. These extreme conditions produce unique wines that feature the same ripe, fruit-forward character as found in California, but also the freshness and slight touch of acidity that are hallmarks of Old World wines.
Chardonnay loves the extended sunshine and warm weather found in this beautiful corner of Eastern Washington. The grapes seem to pick up a flavor profile borrowed from the adjacent stone fruit orchards while also expressing an exotic, tropical fruit twang. APPELLATION: Columbia Valley, Washington
VARIETAL COMPOSITION: 100% Chardonnay
WINEMAKING PROCESS: Bloomdust grapes are pressed and fermented at a cool temperature which regulates fermentation speeds and permits the wine to retain the orchard fruit characteristics that we prize in Chardonnay. The finished wine ages on its fine lees with periodic stirring and is bottled in strictly anaerobic conditions.
