Making wine is an ancient artform, stretching beyond antiquity to the dawn of the shared human experience. With Antiquitous, we celebrate this side of life – the festive, jovial, convivial shared experience and the connections we make over a great glass. The conduit for this joy is our Pinot Noir – an elegant, classic, old-school expression that appeals to all and sure to bring a smile to your face.
Anitquitous is a spice bomb on the nose – loads of tea leaf, sage and clove remind us of the complexity that great Pinot Noir can achieve in California. On the palate, Antiquitous is delicately textured and finely detailed, with dried cherry, orange peel, and fresh tilled soil notes that are well balanced and sail on through to an elegant finish. A sweet pipe tobacco note and brisk acidity provide added focus and traction on the back end.

Pinot Noir is a showcase of terroir, and in California’s cooler sites, it expresses its location with a fresh, savory and flavorful style, a signature of the classic style. A natural partner for food, Pinot Noir’s crisp acidity helps it stand up formidably to many different cuisines.
A later import to California, Pinot Noir has flourished in recent decades, with the grape variety being a major contributor to the area’s burgeoning reputation as a competitor on the global wine stage. We are very excited to share Antiquitous Pinot Noir with you, to share with you the liquid excitement generated when grape variety and location find perfect harmony.
VARIETAL COMPOSITION: 100% Pinot Noir
WINEMAKING PROCESS: Antiquitous Pinot Noir is harvested at night when temperatures are still cool, to preserve freshness in the grapes. Destemming is followed by a long, cool fermentation and aging in stainless steel. This helps to build precision and character in the finished wine.
